DriveWorksXpress allows you to add rules to SOLIDWORKS models to make them intelligent, it is a straightforward 3-step process which is broken down into capturing models, creating a form, and adding design rules:
Step 1: Capture Models
Capture the dimensions, features, custom properties, and configurations to drive the customized output model.
Step 2: Create a Form
Use the form panel to create data entry fields where you can input numeric or text fields to drive the captured items.
Step 3: Add Design Rules
Use the rules panel to link the captured models to the forms you created for data entry.
