To enable Xpress Products (SimulationXpress, FloXpress, DFMXpress, SustainabilityXpress, and DriveWorksXpress) in SOLIDWORKS 2015 you will need to obtain a Product Code from the MySolidWorks website.
PLEASE NOTE: The product codes are linked to your SOLIDWORKS Serial Number, so each user will need to perform the steps below for their own system.
Step 1: First, you will need to have a fully registered and unlocked Customer Portal account for the Product Code to be generated. Log into your SolidWorks Customer Portal Account and check to see if there are any locks present on any of the features of the account. If there are then follow these instructions to fully unlock the account (or if you do not have an account yet, follow the instructions to set one up)
Your SOLIDWORKS serial number can be found by going to Help > About SOLIDWORKS.
Step 1 – SOLIDWORKS Customer Portal
Step 2: Launch the Xpress tool, in this example we will try to launch DriveWorksXpress. In SOLIDWORKS 2015 go to Tools > Xpress Products > DriveWorksXpress
Step 2 – Access an Xpress Product
Step 3: In the window that comes up click on the link for My.solidworks.com/xpress
Step 3 – Access MySolidWorks
Step 4: Log into the MySolidWorks website.
Step 4 – Log into MySolidWorks
Step 5: The activation code (Product Code) that is linked to your SOLIDWORKS serial number will display.
Step 5 – Copy the Xpress Product Code
Step 6: Copy and paste the Product Code into the window in SOLIDWORKS and click OK.
Step 6 – Copy & Paste the Product Code into SOLIDWORKS
After this you should have full access to your chosen Xpress product.
